Annual Report

MacDonnell Shire Council publishes its Annual Report and General Purpose Financial Report of previous financial year operations. It is tabled each year with the Northern Territory Government Minister for Local Government by 15 November.

Local Government Subsidiary 

CouncilBIZ is a Local Government Subsidiary of the Shire Councils of the Northern Territory. Along with the formation of the Shires in 2008, CouncilBIZ was established to facilitate the efficient provision of administration, information technology and financial services to its Shire Council members.

Shire Plan

MacDonnell Shire Council engages constituents through its twelve Elected Councillors and thirteen Local Boards in the process of assessing and refining a three year Shire Plan. The Shire Plan is refined annually and presented as a draft document by 30 June for public review. Following a 21day period the public comments are considered by the Elected Councillors and a Final Shire Plan is tabled with the Northern Territory Government Minister for Local Government.
