Cemetery Management
MacDonnell Shire Civil Works Crews are responsible for the maintenance of cemetery grounds. Most cemetery maintenance involves clearing grass, weeds and repairing fences.
We contribute regularly to assisting families to dig graves by utilising our machinery. This is currently a free service that we offer to our communit members as we appreciate how difficult it is for many family members to try and source this help from elsewhere.
Our Service Delivery Centres have commenced keeping burial registers so family members can keep track of where loved ones are buried as head stones are not always used.
