Swimming Pools
MacDonnell Shire has three swimming pools based and Walungurru / Kintore, Ltyentye Apurte / Santa Teresa and Utju / Areyonga. Our role is to operate these facilities whilst ensuring a safe environment for residents. We also manage repairs and maintenance relating to plant, equipment and fencing.
The Swimming Pools are a social asset with strong links to a range of health benefits that can assist in combating skin diseases, ear infections and respiratory diseases.
