The Executive Manager – Aged and Childcare Services is accountable for the leadership, strategic direction, operational management, and service delivery of MacDonnell Regional Council's Aged Care, School Nutrition, and Childcare programs. The role ensures services are culturally responsive, compliant with legislation and funding agreements, and aligned with Council’s regional plan.
This position provides strategic and operational leadership across all program areas and ensures compliance with all relevant legislation, funding agreements, and standards (e.g. Aged Care Quality Standards, National Quality Framework, regulations etc).
The Executive Manager develops and maintains strong partnerships with stakeholders including funding bodies, Aboriginal community-controlled organisations, and government agencies.
The Executive Manager leads strategic and operational planning, budgeting, policy development and service review. Most importantly the Executive Manager champions workforce development, succession planning and continuous improvement.
