The Executive Manager of People & Capabilities(EM P&C) actively contributes to the strategic management and development of the P&C department through the provision of a high quality professional and Council focused human resource services. Additionally, the EM P&C provides strategic leadership and management of the WHS, Learning & Development, and staff wellbeing functions to facilitate the delivery of relevant and appropriate services to the Council which promotes best industry practice and legislative compliance.

This role is also responsible for leading the development and implementation of related policies and procedures that provide support and direction to all staff. The EM P&C works closely with other executive leaders to drive efficiency and effectiveness of P&C initiatives through Council’s strategic and operational plans.
