Under the Local Government Act (section 200), MacDonnell Regional Council is required to make public reviewable decisions. The following are designated by the Act as reviewable:
- a decision by the council or a council committee to reject an application for correction of an entry in the assessment record (Section 154(6));
- a regulatory order (Section 196);
- a decision to refuse to suppress a person’s name or address (or both) from publicly available material (Section 201(5)).
The following provide details of any reviewable decisions made by the Council, as defined by the Act:
