Tidy Towns

MacDonnell Regional Council (MRC) is proud of the achievements it has made in improving environmental health outcomes, promoting sustainable communities through improving waste management awareness and education.

MRC been recognised for its successes in this space winning the Best Regional Council Category of the Keep Australia Beautiful Tidy Town’s Awards for 9 years in a row. 

Communities in the Region have also been very successful and as a result have been recognised in the yearly awards. Commenting on one of those community successes, CEO Jeff MacLeod couldn’t have been more pleased stating that “these awards truly reflect the hard work and dedication of MRC’s staff, particularly those in the communities which have been recognised”.
